I like the quality of the backpack. I wish it had wood instead of steel to move the straps , but that is just personal preference. It does not compromise the backpack whatsoever. It is smaller for an adult, not extremely large(which I personally like) like the travel packs. Good size for minimalists. It would be a good size for a child (to grow into-it would be like a large backpack at first) I recommend it
